Hayli Stone, Resident in Counseling
Clinician
Philosophy of Care
Hayli specializes in relational therapy, with a focus on couples work, attachment dynamics, intimacy, and sex therapy. She supports individuals and partners navigating relationship distress, communication challenges, emotional disconnection, and sexual concerns, as well as broader patterns that impact how people relate to themselves and others. Her work is sex-positive and affirming of kink-aware and diverse relational expressions. She is currently training in mediation to deepen her work with couples experiencing high-conflict dynamics and relational impasses.
Her experience also includes clients presenting with PTSD and C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence (ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder), eating disorders, grief, and life transitions, particularly when these challenges impact relational functioning.
Hayli primarily draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches allow her to address both present-day relational challenges and the deeper patterns that shape how people connect with themselves and others. She works to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore, repair, and strengthen their relational worlds with greater clarity and connection.
Outside the therapy room, Hayli is usually running, baking, or cooking up something delicious. She’s also unapologetically into reality TV (and the snarky podcasts that go with it) and loves nothing more than quality time with her favorite people.
Her experience includes (but isn’t limited to) clients presenting with PTSD and C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence (ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder), eating disorders, life transitions, breakups and divorce, grief, and couples/sex therapy (including work with kink, polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, and LGBTQIA+ clients).
Hayli primarily draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches allow her to address present-day challenges and the deeper patterns that contribute to them. She works to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their inner worlds, build resilience, and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. Whether someone is navigating trauma recovery, relationship challenges, or major life changes, Hayli’s goal is to help them feel understood, empowered, and equipped for meaningful growth.
